Do you ship to the outer reaches of Scotland/Isles/Northern Ireland? We do! We ship our Proper Milk throughout the whole of the UK. Outlying/extended areas may be subject to a higher delivery charge and may take two days to arrive, so please contact us here before placing your order.

What packaging do you use? Your Proper milk is packed & delivered by overnight courier in thermal & environmentally sensitive WoolCool (multi-re-useable & compostable) sheeps wool lined cardboard boxes with ice. This keeps things cool enough for at least 48hrs even in the warmer weather.
How much is P&P? P&P varies depending on the size of your order, please see here for P&P prices per litre. Delivery may seem expensive (£11 up to 15 litres) but milk is heavy/bulky and we use a very reliable overnight courier. Many customers buy in bulk and freeze the milk to save on P&P (packaging is on average £5 per box of thermal but environmentally sensitive Wool Cool fleece and cardboard) so on average shipping plus packaging for one box of milk is £15.
Special instructions for delivery, I have changed my address etc – please clearly state in the notes of your order your delivery instructions or updated details to make sure we don't miss anything. If you are at all concerned after booking, please contact us here.
Do you deliver on Saturdays? We do! We ship Proper Milk Tuesday-Saturday, however there is an extra postage charge for Saturdays. At the checkout just select 'Saturday delivery' and we'll do the rest (Your order must be in before 10am on Friday to ensure delivery). If you have a preference for any other day of the week that you would like your milk to be delivered, please state in the notes of your order. It is possible for your milk to arrive the very next morning after making your order without receiving confirmation.
Do you sell beef? Yes! Our Gold-Top Jersey Beef is highly sought after. The purely-pasture-fed two year old steers are the boys raised by their own mothers/the milking cows, who are weaned at about 10 months old. The boys are raised on grass with the rest of the herd until about 2yrs old, please go to our The CAFD Method page for more detail.. The beef is dry air aged and hung for 3 weeks. It has a lovely creamy yellow fat covering which is indicative of purely grass feeding and the Jersey breed. The beef is cut and individually packaged in packs suitable for the average household or a single person. For a beef price list and to see what is available please go to our contact page here.

What about the plastic? We do use plastic and yes of course we do hate it. We are a tiny, tiny business currently reliant on plastic, we have done our research and so far have found no sustainable alternative to our plastic bottles. To make the change to glass we'd need to spend a huge amount of money (which of course we don't have). If you do really feel strongly about our plastic consumption then maybe you could help us make the change to glass bottles by contributing, why not make a donation?
